The "Firsts"

Well, we've arrived to Thailand. It's been great so far despite the heat and lack of sleep. I think we've been doing pretty good. We could not be more proud of our boys. There could be LOTS to complain about but they haven't. They are thoroughly loving Thailand. As I was putting Jesse to bed tonight I asked him what he like most about Thailand. He said, "#1. That God is with us. #2. That it's hot. #3. That I got a new bike." Here are a couple pictures to try to describe to you some of our "firsts":

The boys were AMAZING travelers. It helped that the airplanes had individual touch screen TV's with video games! They loved that. They loved all the escalator rides and being able to pull their own suitcase. We highly recommend Etihad Airlines for anyone that would like to come visit Thailand:)

When we got to Chiang Mai, we got our own personalized carousel b/c we were the only ones that flew international. It was quite easy to pick out all of our luggage since it was the only ones.

We arrived happy, healthy, excited and somewhat rested. And all of our luggage arrived as well.

Our first evening we had supper with the MB Mission missionaries and the boys slept through the whole thing.

The next day we went shopping and Chase slept through that whole thing too. Actually, he fell asleep just after we found Nutella. Notice how dear and precious it is to him?

This was a nicely posed picture to show you... eggs on the shelf. Hmmmm.....

The third day was bike shopping day! Chase is excited for his Angry Birds bike.

Jason is excited for his "granny bike". Though he'd be made fun of in Canada, not so much in Thailand.

When in Thailand, do as the Thai's do. We arrive to team-time as a family unit on this scooter. Thanks Andy & Carmen for lending it to us. We are convinced we want one and we are convinced we belong in Thailand when the 4 of us can ride on it together.

In efforts to keep the boys awake longer we went to McDonalds for supper with Jon & Bonnie. Thankfully it's not as expensive as back home, but tastes just the same:)

So, this is just a small glimpse into our last couple days. We feel God has blessed us in so many ways. We'll take more pictures around the house after we get it cleaned up. Our house help/boys babysitter for when we're at Thai school is coming tomorrow. We're looking forward to getting to know Yupin and getting this house clean.

Blessings from Thailand!!
The Happy Reimers!
